Having spent my career in public safety and working alongside our firefighters during emergencies, wildfires, evacuations, and everyday calls for service, this endorsement is especially meaningful to me.
I am grateful for their confidence and support and remain committed to ensuring Cloverdale is a safe, prepared, and strong community for the people who call it home.

“I am proud to endorse Chris Parker for Cloverdale City Council. I have seen Chris’s commitment to Cloverdale, his integrity, and his ability to lead through challenging issues. I am honored to receive The Press Democrat’s endorsement for Cloverdale City Council.
In its endorsement, The Press Democrat highlighted my leadership skills, integrity, experience with City budgeting, and record of leading Cloverdale through some of our community’s most difficult challenges, including the 2019 Kincade Fire.
The editorial recognized that my experience as Cloverdale’s former Police Chief can bring proven leadership and fiscal knowledge to the City Council as we address our budget, public safety, growth, water, and other important issues facing our community.
I appreciate this endorsement and remain committed to one thing above all else: serving the people of Cloverdale and making decisions based on what is best for our entire community.
Trusted Leadership. Proven Experience. Cloverdale First.
I am honored to have the endorsement of fellow Cloverdale City Council candidate Steve Kawa, and I am equally proud to endorse Steve for City Council. Steve is a Cloverdale small-business owner with decades of experience in state and local government, including serving as Chief of Staff to several San Francisco Mayors, and he currently serves on the Cloverdale Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
Steve brings extensive experience in government operations, budgeting, policy, and economic development. I believe our complementary backgrounds and shared commitment to Cloverdale can help move our city forward while preserving the character of the community we both care about. Steve has my endorsement, and I appreciate his confidence and endorsement of my candidacy as well.
