Experience. Service. Community.

My priorities are simple: keep Cloverdale safe, practice responsible fiscal management, support our local businesses, invest in our roads, parks, and infrastructure, and ensure thoughtful growth that protects the small-town character we all cherish. I believe in listening to our residents, working together, and making decisions that are transparent, practical, and in the best interest of our community. With more than 28 years of leadership in public service and over 22 years calling Cloverdale home, I am ready to continue serving our city with integrity, experience, and accountability. I respectfully ask for your vote so that, together, we can build an even stronger future for Cloverdale.

More than 22 years ago, my wonderful wife, Carmen, and I chose Cloverdale as the place where we wanted to raise our family. Our two children were born and raised here, attending Jefferson Elementary School, Washington Middle School, and Cloverdale High School. We have a modest home in a neighborhood we love, surrounded by good people who represent the many different backgrounds and walks of life that make Cloverdale such a special community.
From the beginning, I felt a strong sense of community in Cloverdale, and our family has always believed in giving back. Over the years, I have volunteered with our schools, coached local youth, participated in community events, and worked alongside organizations dedicated to making Cloverdale a better place for everyone.
I have had the privilege of interacting and working with many of our local service and community organizations, including Reach for Homes, which serves our unsheltered population, La Familia Sana, the Rotary Club, the Lions Club, Kiwanis Club, the Cloverdale Chamber of Commerce, and many others.
To me, community means more than simply living in the same town. It means knowing your neighbors, supporting one another, helping those in need, investing in our children/community, and recognizing that every resident has a place in our community. Cloverdale is where Carmen and I chose to build our life, raise our children, and call home and I remain deeply committed to serving and giving back to the community that has given our family so much.
As you listen to my story, I want to share the experiences, people, and community that have shaped who I am. This is my journey of service to Cloverdale, why this community means so much to my family, and why I hope to continue serving you on the Cloverdale City Council.
